Day 01: Hanoi Arrival

Day 02: Hanoi to Lao Cai & Sapa

After a hearty breakfast at your hotel, meet your guide and driver at 8:00 AM for your transfer to Lao Cai City via a scenic new highway. Enjoy a comfortable 4-hour and 30-minute car ride, passing through the stunning landscapes of northern Vietnam as you approach the border belt with China. Along the way, there will be stops for photos and refreshments to capture the breathtaking views.
Arrive in Lao Cai City and enjoy a delicious lunch before continuing your journey to Sapa. A short 1-hour drive on a picturesque route will take you to the hilltop town of Sapa, where you'll check in at your hotel and refresh yourself for the afternoon activities.
In the afternoon, embark on an immersive visit to Cat Cat Village, a charming community that provides a glimpse into the lives of the H'Mong ethnic group. Here, you'll learn about traditional practices such as weaving and dyeing, and visit the historic French-era Cat Cat Hydroelectric Station, where three water streams converge to form the serene Muong Hoa Stream. Day 03: Sapa Exploring

Today, get ready to experience the awe-inspiring beauty of Sapa, known as the "Roof of Indochina," standing proudly at 3,143 meters above sea level. Located just 9 kilometers from Sapa town, Fansipan is a must-visit destination for any traveler to the region. Once a challenging peak for adventurers, Fansipan is now easily accessible thanks to the newly constructed cable car, allowing visitors to conquer the highest mountain in Vietnam with ease and comfort.
Morning: After breakfast at the hotel, your guide will pick you up for your journey to Fansipan, the highest peak in the Hoang Lien Son mountain range. Board the 6.2 km long Fansipan Sa Pa Cable Car, which holds two Guinness World Records for the longest three-wire cable car (6292.5 meters) and the largest elevation difference between departure and arrival stations (1410 meters). One of the highlights of Sapa is the Swing Sapa, a popular virtual living spot in the Swing Area. Here, you'll find two giant statues facing each other in the middle of a lake, inspired by the famous local love story of K’lang and H’Biang. It's a perfect place for a fun photo op, especially at the super cool Sky Gate.
Afternoon: After lunch and shopping, take a scenic drive to the Corrugated Iron Station for a panoramic view of O Quy Ho Pass, Love Waterfall, and Kinh Bridge (please note the entrance fee is self-sustained). This area within the Hoang Lien National Forest offers a stunning backdrop for more photos, so be sure to have your camera ready. Evening: Return to Sapa town for some relaxation. Today’s trek takes you through vibrant streets, past local homes, and into the tranquil paths leading to Cat Cat Village, the home of the Black H'Mong people. As you trek, you’ll have the opportunity to engage with the hill tribe people, learning about their unique culture, customs, and traditions. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views of the picturesque rice terrace paddy fields and the lush landscapes that surround the village.
Continue your trek as you descend into the village and leave the beaten track behind, immersing yourself in the untouched natural beauty of the area, including stunning limestone panoramas. As you make your way downhill towards Muong Hoa Valley, you’ll pass through expansive rice paddies and small hill tribe hamlets, where you’ll learn more about the daily lives of the local communities. In Lao Chai Village, interact with the locals, gaining insight into their traditions and lifestyles.  The trek continues as you pass through more villages and rice terraces, making your way to Ta Van Village, a settlement of the Dzay ethnic group. Known for its beauty, Ta Van is considered one of the most picturesque villages in the area, offering stunning views of terraced fields and the surrounding mountains. Take time to explore the village and admire the natural beauty that surrounds you.
After a rewarding day of trekking, return to Sapa for a well-deserved lunch at a local restaurant, where you can savor delicious regional dishes. Following lunch, we will depart for Hanoi, taking the new highway for a comfortable 4-hour journey back to the capital. Upon arrival in Hanoi, you’ll check into The Light Hotel, where you can relax and unwind after a day full of exploration. Day 05: Hanoi – Trang An – Tam Coc

Today’s journey takes you to Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam, which dates back to the 10th century. This historical site is where you’ll learn about the two great kings who played pivotal roles in unifying Vietnam and securing its freedom from Chinese domination after a thousand years of rule. Explore the temples dedicated to these legendary leaders, immersing yourself in the fascinating history of the region.
Next, we will travel to the impressive Bai Dinh Buddhist Temple, one of Vietnam's largest pilgrimage centers, built to meet the spiritual needs of the Vietnamese people in the 21st century. Admire the grandeur of this temple complex, known for its massive statues and serene atmosphere, before heading to Tam Coc for lunch.
After a delightful lunch, continue your journey through magnificent limestone mountains that rise dramatically from the lush green rice paddies. Along the way, visit Bich Dong Pagoda and Thai Vi Temple, both rich in history and offering stunning views of the surrounding countryside. As you continue to explore, make your way to Trang An, a UNESCO World Heritage site, famous for its natural beauty and tranquil atmosphere.
In Trang An, embark on a three-hour boat trip to explore the stunning caves, where you’ll glide through emerald waters beneath towering limestone formations. Marvel at the intricate stalagmites and stalactites inside the caves while enjoying the peaceful, picturesque scenery around you. After the boat trip, return to the wharf and hop on a bike to ride through the magnificent limestone mountain ranges that soar above the rice paddies, providing breathtaking views of the landscape. Day 06: Tam Coc – Ha Long Bay

Today, embark on a journey to one of the world’s most stunning natural wonders—Ha Long Bay, renowned for its thousands of islands, pristine beaches, mysterious caves, and traditional fishing villages that dot the bay. After breakfast, you'll be picked up from your hotel in Tam Coc at 7:20 AM for a scenic 3-hour drive to Ha Long Bay.
Arriving at Ha Long Bay, you’ll board your luxurious cruise at 11:30 AM and be welcomed with refreshing drinks. Your guide will provide a cruise briefing before you check into your cabin. Once settled, the cruise will set sail, and you'll enjoy a delicious Vietnamese lunch as you begin your exploration of Bai Tu Long Bay, passing by the picturesque towns of Hon Gai and Cam Pha, as well as the beautiful Oan Lagoon, Monster Head, Teapot Islets, and the mystical Thien Canh Son Cave. Next, visit the hidden gem of Co Cave (also known as Thien Canh Son Cave), where you’ll hike up the mountain to explore this wild and mysterious cave. Inside, marvel at the sparkling stalactites that hang like delicate "lamps" from the ceiling, creating a surreal and magical atmosphere. After discovering the beauty of the cave, return to the boat and enjoy a sunset party on board as the cruise anchors in the calm waters of Cong Dam, surrounded by the towering limestone islets. As the evening sets in, enjoy a delicious dinner served on board, and take advantage of the various entertainment options available, including live music and a dancing bar, where you can join other travelers for a fun and memorable evening. Day 07: Ha Long Bay – Hanoi – Departure

Start your day with a rejuvenating Tai Chi session on the sun deck for 30 minutes, embracing the serenity of the bay as the sun rises over the dramatic limestone karsts. After your peaceful morning, enjoy a hearty breakfast on the boat before heading out to explore one of the bay's amazing caves. Spend 45 minutes marveling at the spectacular stalagmites and stalactites inside the cave, each formation telling its own story of nature's artistry.
Once you’ve finished exploring the cave, return to the boat to check out and settle your bill while the boat makes its way back to the port. Upon arrival, your driver will be waiting to take you back to Hanoi. On the way, make a stop for a quick refreshment to break up the journey. Arriving at Noi Bai International Airport, your driver will drop you off, and you'll have time to check in for your onward flight. With that, your unforgettable journey through Ha Long Bay, Hanoi, Sapa, and Tam Coc comes to a close.
